Aleta Elliott
Aleta is a fourth generation Chiropractor, born and raised in Collie.
Aleta trained at New Zealand Chiropractic College. She chose to study there after hearing Professor Heidi Haavik, the head of the research department present in Perth. Plus having Dr Esyltt’s family residing there made the transition from rural Western Australia to the fast-paced city of Auckland a little easier.
What Aleta loves most about being a Chiropractor is helping people and empowering people to know what their bodies are capable of. She finds it immensely satisfying working with people one on one, acknowledging that each individual presents with unique needs.
Studying Chiropractic helped Aleta understand how the adjustments she received growing up enabled her to overcome some of the challenges associated with ADHD.
Aleta has always loved babies and children. She was in high demand as a nanny, and held several part time positions caring for babies and children to help fund her 7 years at university. She says she is excited about being back in the Collie community where she grew up, eagerly trading the gloomy grey skies and relentless traffic of Auckland for southwest sunshine, family and community.
When she is not in the office Aleta loves hanging out with her husband Blake, cooking, reading and going to the beach. She is hoping to develop a green thumb and successfully grow some vegetables.
